Concert in Cortona, Italy

World premiere on July 15, 2012: a concert is scheduled in the beautifully Tuscan city of Cortona. Two years ago the city asked me to write a Hymn in honour of the "Etruscan" city. Now, it becomes a reality. In addition to the "Cortona Hymn" the evening will feature the "Apotheosis of Dances", Beethoven's 7th, with its famous 2nd movement, and the joy of Mozart. The Orchestra Sinfonico "Guido d'Arezzo" will make it one light hearted night.

Beethoven- Symphony No. 7 in A Major

Benefit Concert in Monaco

It's Official!
SEPTEMBER 8, 2012
Under the gracious patronage of and in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco : benefit concert for the Fondation Prince Albert II on September 8, 2012 at 19:30 in the Rainier III Auditorium, highlighting the world premiere of the orchestral version of "Monaco Fantastique".

Program will include:
Antonín Dvořák : Symphony n°9 "From the New World"
Bedřich Smetana: Three Dances from the Bartered Bride
Gabriel Fauré: Pavane Op. 50
Anthony Arcaini : Monaco Fantastique

I shall direct the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo which has graciously agreed to perform for free. All proceeds of the benefit concert will go to the Fondation Albert II
